How Thompson Runs Her Practice
Hilary graduated with honors from Ellender Memorial High School and went on to earn a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. After her first semester of law school, she was inducted into Phi Delta Phi, the legal honor society. She graduated from Loyola University College of Law New Orleans before passing the Louisiana State Bar.

Her cases comprise of family law cases, drafting wills and successions, legal malpractices cases, disability benefits cases with the Social Security Administration, contract disputes, and etc. She believes strongly in her clients having a direct access to her and not being bounced around from paralegal to secretary. For the majority of persons seeking legal counsel, Hilary understands this may be one of the most emotionally difficult times in a person's life, and thus, she believes you should be able to speak directly to the attorney who represents you. Hilary also understands that almost all of her clients are working and sometimes unable to meet in person during business hours, so Hilary will handle most of your case virtually and meet you on a time you can both agree on when it fits both of your schedules (She loves meeting clients at Starbucks, because it's an excuse for a tea and ice lemon pound cake)! With today's economy, many of her clients cannot pay the full fee upfront, and she sets up a payment plan to meet their needs.
You can call, text, or email Hilary to set up a consultation, and if she cannot take your case, she will help you find someone that can!
